Emmanuel Gauci, Interim Chief Executive
Emmanuel has Bachelor Degrees in Arts and Education, a Diploma of Education as well as Masters Degrees in Business and in Arts. He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. With a passion for learning and development, and a determination to deliver meaningful improvements in the quality of people’s lives, Emmanuel brings more than 20 years of executive management and governance experience working across the public and community sectors.
Helen Killmier, Executive Manager, Disability Solutions
Helen Killmier is a PhD candidate with a Masters in Applied Psychology. She has extensive experience in leadership roles within the not-for-profit and local government sectors. She is a member of the National Disability Practitioners Board, a former deputy chair of Disability Professionals Victoria and has served at various times in board roles with six other organisations. Helen has presented at numerous conferences and has written many papers for journals and seminars. Helen is also a graduate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Helen joined the lifeAssist team in May 2015.
Aimi Johnson, Executive Manager, Carer Wellbeing
Aimi is responsible for the Carer Wellbeing division which provides a wide range of carer services. Aimi has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Disability Studies) and 16 years experience in the sector, more than 8 of which have been with UnitingCare lifeAssist in a variety of roles including Young Carer Partnership Worker and Program Manager. Aimi has a varied background working in youth, child and family disability services and volunteer coordination. Aimi is Chair of the Victorian Care Services Network, Co-Chair of the Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centres National Working Party and sits on a number advisory committees.
Daryl Kee, Executive Manager, Marketing
Daryl has an extensive background in consumer marketing across the corporate and private business community. A multi-award-winning marketer and marketing strategist, he has worked in retail, property, entertainment, tourism, and event marketing industries before joining UnitingCare lifeAssist at the end of 2013.
